In Sri Lanka he lived as a monk, begging for alms and practicing medicine to look after the poor and the sick. On his travels through Africa, Asia and the Americas he treated countless destitute patients without asking anything in return.

He took part in disaster relief during the major floods in Anhui and Jiangsu, the 1999 Chi-Chi Earthquake in Taiwan, the earthquake in Turkey and the Wenchuan Earthquake in Sichuan — a lifelong commitment to humanitarian service.

Po-Yih Country House

Po-Yih Country House
Po-Yih Country House

For some 20 to 30 years Master Hsu has engaged in self-cultivation and meditation at Chinghuan College — his country house in a green mountainous forest — cultivating humanity-orientated thinking. Its enduring spirit is to make good friends all around and to carry on helping society and the world.

The vivid butterflies of his “Great Love (Wuji)” jewelry set sail from Poyih Countryhouse, carrying auspicious charm and spreading pure and beautiful blessings to all corners of the world.
